Kathy nodded. She didn't want to admit it, but she felt better knowing that her participation would be strictly limited to keeping a weather eye out for the returning thieves. It wasn't that she didn't want to help Sparkle and his friend recovery the property, but...even for a good cause, it felt a little wrong.
